Marie DeJaynes
This is Marie's fourth year serving on the PTO board and second year as President. Marie has a current second grader, Preston, at West and a 6th grader, Liam, at the Middle School. She spent many years volunteering for the PTO before officially joining and loves to help create special memories for all of the kids at West! Outside of school activities you can find Marie at the ball fields cheering on her boys with her husband Greg! She also works full time from home as a supervisor for ezCater. "I am really looking forward to an amazing school year! It takes a village!"

Ashlee Proemm
Ashlee Proemm
Ashlee is excited to join the West PTO as vice president this year. Ashlee is a 12 year resident of Ostrander with her husband Joe and 4 kids, Zachery-8th grade, Andrew-5th grade, Lucy-3rd grade, and Leah-preschool. She stays very busy between swim meets, cross country meets, and dance recitals, but during her spare time she enjoys running and spending time outside. Besides mom duties, she coordinates Healthy Kids Running Series in Delaware each Spring and Fall. Ashlee looks forward to a fantastic year with the best PTO!

Ryanne is serving her second year on the PTO board. Her and her husband, Jake, have a local farm located down the road from West. Ryanne and Jake have two children who attend West – Declan who is in 4th grade and Naomi in 2nd grade. Ryanne has been volunteering at West for years and loves to support the BV Community! “I look forward to an exciting year!”

Megan Miller
Megan Miller
Megan is excited to serve her second year as co-treasurer! She has two kids, a daughter in 6th grade and a son in 2nd grade. When not playing Muber (Mom Uber), she works as an HR manager for a pharma consulting company and enjoys podcasts, reading, breweries, and watching sports.

Jess Jewell
Jess Jewell
Jess is serving her second year as PTO co-secretary. She has two daughters —one in 2nd grade and one in 5th—and a son who will be joining the Baron community this year. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Jess worked in the nonprofit sector, where she gained valuable experience in organization and community involvement. Outside of PTO duties, Jess enjoys playing and watching sports, reading, and spending time outdoors with her husband and kids, whether it’s mountain biking or hiking. She looks forward to contributing to the exciting events and adventures ahead this school year!

Laura Sedler
Laura Sedler
Laura is excited to return for her second year on the PTO board, serving as co-secretary. She’s the proud mom of two boys—Jenson, a 4th grader, and Liam, who is just beginning his journey at West in kindergarten. A dedicated stay-at-home mom, Laura keeps busy with her kids and often opens her home to foster dogs. She enjoys reading, spending time with friends, watching sports, and traveling. Over the years, Laura has been an enthusiastic volunteer at numerous PTO events and looks forward to continuing her involvement. She’s excited to support the board and help create another fun and successful year for the West community!
Technology & Communications

Carrie Reebel
Carrie Reebel
Carrie is excited to begin her second year on the PTO Board as the Technology and Communications Chair. She and her husband, Eli, have three boys—Everett, Easton, and Emeric. In addition to being a stay-at-home mom, Carrie freelances in social media marketing and website development. She’s passionate about supporting the school and is always eager to volunteer her time and talents. Carrie looks forward to continuing to use her skills to help keep the BVW community informed, engaged, and connected. “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to give back and can’t wait for another exciting year ahead!”
Staff Appreciation

Laurel Margraf
Laurel Margraf
Laurel and her husband Jake have four children. Hudson is in 8th grade, Everett is in 6th grade, Vivienne is in 2nd grade at West and Juliette will be in preschool this year. Laurel is a speech-language pathologist entering back into the field after staying home for the last several years. Laurel loves to be involved with her children’s schools and activities. She joined the board to help give back in any way she can, to ensure the kids and staff feel supported, and to help create lasting memories for all of the students!
