Why I joined the PTO:
I volunteered for a few years before officially joining and realized how much I loved being involved! I wanted to have a bigger part in creating fun experiences for our kids, supporting our teachers and helping make West feel like a community. With only two more years of having a kid at West, I want to make the most of that time, help build something that will continue long after my family moves on and hopefully encourage other grownups to get involved along the way!
My favorite PTO event:
Our Family Night at the Lehner’s is my favorite PTO event! I love so many of our events (and Carnival will always have a special place in my heart!), but there’s something really special about seeing West families simply spending time together and enjoying each other. It’s one of those nights where I get to step back, look around and really see the sense of community we’re working so hard to create!

Why I joined the PTO:
I joined the PTO after attending many PTO events with my oldest 2 kids (now in middle and high school) because I realized how fast the elementary years go and wanted to help in any way I could with all the awesome events the PTO does.
My favorite PTO event:
My favorite event is the carnival. I’ve attended many BVW carnivals over the years and have enjoyed how it gets better every year.

Why I joined the PTO:
I enjoy being involved in the PTO because I love being able to give back to our school and help create fun, memorable experiences for the kids. It’s a great way to meet other parents, support our teachers and staff, and make a positive difference in our school community.
My favorite PTO event:
My favorite event is Breakfast with Santa because there’s just something so magical about seeing the kids’ excitement and watching them experience that Christmas magic. Being part of creating those special memories for our kids is what makes volunteering so rewarding!

Why I joined the PTO:
I wanted to meet more BV families and start to build a sense of community for my kids. I didn't grow up in the Ostrander area, so having that organic network of people had to be built from the ground-up. PTO has definitely been a catalyst for many more friendly and familiar faces!
My favorite PTO event:
Carnival is a fun event all around, whether volunteering or attending! The kids love the games and activities, and seeing their smiling faces as they say hi to friends outside of school is the best!

Why I joined the PTO: I joined the PTO to meet other parents, and I was excited to help support the school community with fun events, field trips and fundraisers! It takes a village to achieve these goals, and the PTO provides a wonderful opportunity to bring together parents and teachers to collaborate on behalf of the kids at BVW!
My favorite PTO event: The PTO is always putting on fun events and fundraisers, whether it is having a ball at the carnival or watching the pick 3 to see if your calendar raffle is the winner of the night! My favorite PTO event is the week we get to celebrate and appreciate our teachers and staff at BVW! We always have fun themes, and the committee has a blast decorating, planning and spreading love to those who work so hard and teach our kids all year long!

I wanted to join the PTO to meet other parents and to support the teachers and staff at BVW!
My favorite PTO event:
My favorite event to plan for is the spring carnival! I love seeing all the families come out and have a good time, while also raising funds that give back to our school.

I joined the PTO because I want to be a part of the memories my kids make at school, not just hear about them afterwards!
My favorite PTO event:
My Favorite PTO event is the Spring Carnival! From planning it to watching my kids attend it! It is the most fun and I have made many friends in the process!

Why I joined the PTO:
I joined the PTO to give back to our greater school community. It is important to me (and such a blast) to provide experiences for our students and parents, appreciation for BV West's amazing faculty and staff, and support for school needs as they arise throughout the year. I want my own 3 little Barons to see that service to your community matters and witness what goes on behind the scenes of some of their favorite school events!
My favorite PTO event:
My favorite PTO event to volunteer for is Teacher Appreciation Week, but I love a good Trunk-or-Treat, too!

Why I joined the PTO:
I wanted to be more involved in the school community and have the opportunity to help support our teachers, staff, and students. I’ve always enjoyed volunteering when I can, so joining the PTO felt like a great way to get more involved.
My favorite PTO event:
Teacher Appreciation Week is definitely my favorite! I love seeing all the creative ways our PTO goes above and beyond to make our teachers and staff feel appreciated. I’m excited to be even more involved with it this year!

Why I joined the PTO:
After volunteering for a few events, I realized that I really enjoyed working with the other parents on the board and I wanted to get even more involved. Plus, my kids get excited to know I am involved with their school!
My favorite PTO event:
My favorite event to volunteer for AND attend is Carnival. I love showing up the day of and watching all of our hard work come to life and watching the kids enjoy themselves throughout the event!

I Joined the PTO to be more involved with the kids school and loved how much the PTO does for the school and community.
My favorite PTO event:
My favorite PTO event is Tunk or Treat because all of the kids have a safe place to dress up and Trick or Treat!
I haven't had the opportunity to experience the Spring Carnival yet, but I cannot wait to see what it is all about!

Why I joined the PTO:
I wanted to get involved and make a positive impact as my oldest starts school. I’d love to be part of creating those fun, memorable, and magical moments that make school such a special experience for kids. It feels like a great opportunity to give back, get to know our school community, and be involved in something meaningful for my son and his classmates.
My favorite PTO event:
With this being my first year on the PTO, I’m looking forward to attending and volunteering for as many events as I can. So far I loved being able to help at the popsicle play date for the kindergarteners and meet so many of the kids and parents.
